Richard and I are proud to have been given the opportunity to breed Nikki to a healthy, beautiful, 7.5yr old dog from a line we've admired for a long time.  Many of the Strawberry boxers live well-beyond 10+, and Grandpa Auggie is still doing live breedings at 11.5! Berry, Ch. Hallmark's Fresh Strawberry, finished his championship from the 6-9 puppy class, and has only grown nicer with age; he is pictured above on his way to his Championship.  Berry is owned by Michelle Steele, and was bred by Judy and Bruce Voran (Strawberry Boxers) and Jeff Bennett.  Click on his picture for more info about him and Strawberry Boxers.

This is an outcrossed breeding, and we believe Berry and Nikki compliment eachother very well.  We are very happy with what this litter has produced; Berry gave the puppies exactly what we were hoping for, straightness & width of bite, and also more fill under the eyes without being cheeky. Nikki of course did her part too and passed on her strong points as well- her strong topline, beautiful expression, and showy, outgoing attitude! Wwe are very grateful to Berry's owner Michelle Steele and her daughter, our wonderful handler, Kimberlie for their help. This litter was dubbed our "HOT" litter, as the pups were born in the middle of summer, yet Richard and I, not knowning any better, were worried about the warmth of the puppies. We kept our loft at a toasty 85-90 degrees, and were nervous to open any windows, afraid of what a draft might do to the young pups! After about 2 nights of sleeping with no blankets, and trying not to sweat too much, we figured out that it was so warm, it was making the puppies uncomfortable! We quickly turned on a fan and opened up some windows, us and the pups were thankful, and everyone was much more comfortable from then on.
